Dear EUSD Families,
I am thrilled to announce the re-introduction of our district-wide food distribution program. We recognize that providing for a family can sometimes be challenging, and we want you to know that you are not alone. Our goal is to ensure that every family in our district has access to the food they need. This initiative reflects our commitment to standing together as a community, ensuring that no one faces these challenges alone.
Our food distribution will take place at Empire Elementary, located at 5201 1st Street in Modesto. This will be held every 1st and 3rd Friday of each month, from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. or until supplies lasts. To make this as easy as possible, this will be a drive up service; simply drive up in the front of the school and we will be there to assist you.
We are also seeking volunteers to help us make this effort a success. If you are able to lend a hand, your support would be greatly appreciated by both us and the families we serve.
Interested in volunteering? Please arrive at 8:00 a.m. on the day of the food distribution. Volunteers will be helping us by assembling and distributing food bags to families in need. Your support is crucial for building a stronger community!
